I am going to stick my neck out here about what I think happened with K Rudd our now ex PM. It is my firm belief that he did not want to go to the election as PM but as a senior minister. The reason is quite simple as I see it. With all his trips overseas and all the heads of government that he has got into bed with he has the ambition to get into the UN feed trough. I say this as I believe that Australia is soon to get a seat there. So how would he have swung that as a PM. I will bide my time to see if what I say turns out to be correct and this would also explain why everyone involved is keeping quite about it. He needs Labour to win and would not be surprised if the mad monk in not also in on the scam. Bloody pollies you would not feed the fruckers. Will await the time I have to eat humble pie in a few years time but do not think so.

And now one of her favorite labour members has just thrown a hussy fit , which started when he was told to repay some of his overseas expenses and apologise. For taking his boyfriend with him with the tax payer footing the bill. So dont worry their the same the world over.

What a frightening thought that is? Rudd the dud knocking on the door of the UN for the top job and the Mad Monk knocking on the door of that vatican. I myself prefer to see a female PM so for a change we have one that can take it as well as do it for the rest of the electorate.

Not so sure about that one les. Worked in her electorate for 6 years, she is not all she is cracked up to be, a real red neck socialist at the end of the day.

Geoff we have no choice here in Oz as the election is just a great big farce now. Once we could vote for a party or its member and now it has been reduced to just two anal passages with the added extra of spouting the same crap out of their mouths. I hear what you are saying John and we will be screwed by either of them as we all know that if the Red witch or the Mad Monk that all promises will be annulled especially the MM as he will revert to his hero and declare that all promises where non core. I have this theory that when the government of the day pays the visit to the GG that from that day on the only thing the electorate should be informed of is the core policies they intend to enact. That all campaigning should cease from that day and leave the us to go to the voting booths to vote on what they have done in the last three years. Cut the crap and let us decide on past performances. I suppose that in the end we get the ones we deserve if we are that stupid to let them treat us like Kiwi sheep.

Les mate, bit unfair on the sheep as you know unlike our kiwi cousins ours are far more versatile, and better looking. What gets me is the pretence that voting is compulsory! What a load of crap, no democracy would ever make it compulsory, yes you must have your name crossed off at the polling booth but after that you can do as you wish. If you are not on the roll even better. Bur Western democracy is now nothing more than a popularity contest, we had Blair, Obama, Rudd and now the Red Witch, in my mind none of them any bloody good. All polis now are visionless, only look as far as the next erection in the hope of staying in power.

Les . What sort of voting system do you have there. We have done away with the first past the post. We have MMP which gives you one vote for the member you want and one for the party vote.Its a real cockeyed system, if one of the leaders of a party gets elected, he then brings in with him list MPs who have never been elected into office.Weird system. The best was we had a referendum on first past the post and MMp . Over 90% said get rid of MMp, what happened , a big fat zero. In fact one minister had the cheek to say that the NZ public who voted DIDNT understand the question. Its just more snouts in the trough.

In answer to all questions we only have to look into the mirror to find out what went wrong. We have allowed them to bull us so much that now we can no longer control them. We have allowed them so much power that we can no longer go to the chemist now for tablets to relieve pain without having to produce photo identity to get it. I for one still buck that and inform them that I do not have any photo identification and usually end up not getting the product. Unfortunatly I always feel I am alone in this stand.

Les mate you are not alone, I for one will not allow thr gov to bully me, the person who can tell me what I can and cannot do is yet to be born, her indoors excluded, and the more I look at the ALP the more I realise that all they want is absolute power and nothing else.

Well sumed up Les, and what you say goes for all of us in the so called democratic societies of this world. Appathy, Complasencey and lack of interest, will I fear one day strip us of our so called rights, Rights that are already being striped away. You onley have to look at the so called freedom of speach in the UK, it's been crumbling away at a rate of knots since WW2.
