Mate do not forget to get Trish on the UK pension as they are reticent in letting you know that she is entitled to it same as my sheriff. Sort of makes up for them being so mean by freezing it once you start getting it. Did you also know that you are entitled to back pay donations for four years I think to increase your payments but then again you might already be up for maximum as they changed the rules for entitlements a while back.

F@#$#@#$#@ Boiling, eventually they replied to my email and gave me a download form to fill in, virtually blaming me for the delay.Hey there the ones that tell you that they will contact you approx 3 to 4 months before you are due to retire. Then they give you a form of 24 pages and want to know the in and outs of a
cats arse.
How many of us can list their jobs and employers from the first day you started work 50 years ago. not forgetting day/month / year when you started/finished. your employers name and address plus your pay ,number or employee number.
And guess who has all this information?? yes you have it in one. the pensions department. Maybe if they pulled their finger out of their a===s and did the job they are paid to do the world and the UK wouldnt be in so much chit.
OK my rant over you can all come out of hiding now.

Been there and done that with the T shirt to prove it mate but it is worth it in the end. How I found to do it was to list all the jobs on a piece of paper that I could recall then just go over it for a few days or weeks and fill in the blanks. Try doing it in order and they get away from paying out a pension as they can not read the forms once they are screwed up and torn into shreds like mine nearly where. How do pensioners suffering dementia get to apply for the pension? Now that is a curly one is it not.

Thank you for your prompt reply as I take it that we are reverting back to our times at sea where a response could take up to one or two decades in coming LOL. As oft Quoted? The only use a seaman has for a pen is to either sign on or sign off.

I think Le Les was asking
What are the two most important documents for any seafarer.................
Passport and CDC, ought to be checked thoroughly when receiving from the master.
Checking their physical conditions (for any damage) is necessary to avoid any complications at the airport. The stamp indicating the sea service must be checked in the CDC. A seaman must never forget that without these two booklets, it is impossible to conduct any personal or professional work pertaining to one’s sea career.

Outside football, Cruyff's favourite sport (and hobby) was golf.[ In the 1970s, Cruyff loved to collect cars. In the Sandro Ciotti's documentary film Il Profeta del gol (1976), Cruyff said, "I like to drive for the 20 km that separate the training camp from my house, it relaxes me. I love the cars

!, ADIDAS
2 Cruyff Turn, in which he shaped to cross only to drag the ball back behind his standing leg with the other foot while turning through 180 degrees and then shimmying past a defender, was to be immortalised on the world stage.

how about.... All his team-mates had the famous three stripes of Adidas on the sleeves of their orange shirt, but Cruyff had two.
This was because Cruyff was sponsored by rival brand Puma who supplied him with their iconic Puma King boots, and he refused to wear the three trademark Adidas stripes.

WHO AND WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT
A law of the mid 1800's disposed that convicts with sentences over 8 years would never return to France

Women were recruited in France jails to be sent as volunteers to New-Caledonia.

They were transported to New-Caledonia from 1870 until 1887.

They were then placed under the care of St Joseph de Cluny nuns until they married with a convict, freed or still undergoing his sentence and having been granted a land concession. These women, for most of them, were housed in a large building built for this purpose in Bourail. It was then, improperly, called the "convent" as the women living in it were certainly not as virtuous as nuns. It is at the opportunity of outings for washing laundry or for religious offices, that they were chosen by the land concession holding convicts. A meeting was then organized in the "kioske", a small nearby house, under the vigilant supervision of the sisters who made sure that these meetings remained perfectly according to moral standards until marriage was held.
