1) Famous British landmarks.
2) There have been four of these.
3) Two are still standing
4) The third has a Welsh connection
5) The third one has something similar properties as to what the romans used
6) The last one is still in the same site and the third has been moved and reassembled somewhere else..

Nothing to do with London bridge yet these do and did look over water.1) Famous British landmarks.
2) There have been four of these.
3) Two are still standing
4) The third has a Welsh connection
5) The third one has something similar properties as to what the romans used
6) The last one is still in the same site and the third has been moved and reassembled somewhere else..
7) The first two were made of wood, one disappeared the other burnt down
8) the last two were made of stone and are still in existence and working.

Sorry Sir reg nothing to do with castles and walls. Conwy Castell does overlook the water, but Cardiff castle is some 3 miles from the sea and cant see it from its position.

Yes sir Reg. The Eddystone lighthouse. and the connection is they reportedly used the lime from Aberthaw to make the mortar for the Smeaton lighthouse, as like the Roman cement it will set even whilst underwater.
as a kid growing up i spent most of my time walking and playing around Aberthaw and the old lime works was my castle.
