It has been a close run thing Tom but we are now the largest community ownd club in the UK. and the team management are all Pompy through and through. We will get a ten point deduction that will take us into Div 2, but they can start with a clean slate, and no unwanted preasure. With luck we can get up at the first attempt. I see your club have parted company with Martin O'Niel, felt sure he would have got your lads playing well this season, can't say I like your new man, but time will tell.

well George mate i think that only time will tell with this new fella. as for Martin O, maybe he has just his mojo somewhat. let's face it the lads that are playing here haven't just got fit in ia week i personally think that they are just under-worked and over paid..... in other words simply bone idle

they always come up with excuses like we've had a rough couple of weeks because they played four games in two weeks or whatever, so 90 mins is tough.... bulltish i tell ya!
what about tennis players i ask ya? there's no one on the court to help them out and can play over three hours in one session none stop and more than once a week at that too

look after yourself mate and if you see terry tell him that biting is still a no-no

Tom you hit the nail on the head there mate over paid and bone idle, that for me sums up the average modern player. O'Neil will not be lost for work, be surprised if he hasen't got a job by the start of the new season.

More blood pressure pills Tom. Pompey excelled themselves with a 3-0 win against Dagenham & Redbridge. See your boy's lost, but what was the game like is there hope this year??????

i guess that miracles happen farther south at this time of the year george.

i watched the game on tv via kodi and i can tell you that the only three things that moved on the park was the ball, green &yellow shirts and the sunderland keeper. the standard of football from seasoned players is an abomination to the words having a job. these fellas are getting money for nothing. there is no disciplinary action taken on poor performance by these clowns unlike so very, very, many jobs in the "real world".

a nightmare of a start here Image

Know how you feel Tom. Especially regarding players pay. They can earn more in a week than some people will earn in a lifetime, and still expect the working man to support them. But I blame greedy clubs and the likes of Sky TV. Still it's either pay up or listen to the Radio commentary. Well Pompy have done it again Plymouth 1-2 Portsmouth, and winning this seasons 1st round in the battle of the dock yards [ensign ]
