Hi Geoff,
D'you remember the kids with silver sleeves ? Months of accumulated snot forming a silvery patina at the bottom of their cuffs. And those days at the sea school when your underpants crackled when you walked, and you could stand your sheets up when you made your bunk. Can you remember your Mum's shriek of horror as she unpacked your kit ? Your underpants had to be boil washed 3 times and were hung out to dry on a seperate line. Happy Days !
BrianD

Brian this is a super story i have read parts of your childhood elsewhere on the forum but it looks like youve really perfected the art of storytelling now, you have the knack of painting pictures with your words a very rare and specail gift.
I bet you could spin a really good yarn when you was at sea.

Kind Regards ,
Dean.

Hi Dean, Thanks again for those nice comments, the excerpts I am posting curfently, were first posted on Yo ! Liverpool in 2007 . A guy from Arkansas asked if he could post them on here around about autumn in that year. His e.name was Shytalk and he posted the episode that had appeared the day before on Y0! I was happy for him to do so but things went topsy turvy and Yo! went off the air for a few months. I posted the episodes direct on to this site until it too fell apart. Meanwhile the Admistrator at Yo! resolved things and I picked up the thread. When Tom took over I started posting again ,and then I fell apart, spent 4 months in different hospitals ( was transferred by ambulance from each one) I picked up the threads again in midsummer of last year and, with Toms help , I aim to get it all on one continuous thread. Bit of a big job,but it has got to be done. Meanwhile, I'll add another episode,
Kind Regards,
BrianD
