I sailed on the Swan River at the back end of 1960 until the winter. We joined her in Liverpool and sailed out to Las Palmas ,in the Canaries and then on to the East Coast of South America. She had just completed her maiden voyage and was still in tip top condition;single berth, with well appointed cabins and even a "dirty room" where we could get changed out of our working gear before entering our accommodation. The food was good and the ports we hit were excellent.Monte Video ,Buenos Aires, we spent Christmas
